Artist and sculptor John T. Greves is the creative force behind Northwest Special Effects (NWF/X).

Greves originally founded Greves Commercial Art in 1980. After six productive years, he expanded his services to meet the diverse needs of his clients and quickly growing demands of the times, evolving his business to become NWF/X.

Since then, Greves has produced art and effects for theater, film, music video, government, business, public fundraisers and private individuals. His art has ranged from molds, prosthetics and special effects devices to sets and props and lifecasting demonstrations.

Greves is also skilled in the medium of bronze. For several years, the nationally renowned Bronze Works employed Greves' talents as a mold-maker and patinuer. He continues his work today, collaborating with artists, individuals, business & Government organizations in the production of human portraiture, design, sculpture and art.
